It never ceases to amaze me to witness the sacrifices the teens, parents, youth leaders and sponsors make to pull off our monthly Bible quiz meet. It is a wonder to hear reports of who pitches in to replace someone else in getting their teens to the quiz. Of the teens who had to give up other events just to come to the quiz. Of the tremendous amount of school work they are under, but still make time to prepare for these Quiz meets. Saturday November 10th was just one of those days. To God be the glory!We had 25 teens, from 11 churches competing in or November quiz. Several churches only had one quizzer that was able to be there. It took a lot of commitment in gathering these 25 quizzers with some traveling well over 200 miles (each way).We were very glad to have Paris join us for this their first quiz meet in several years. Katrina Malone even finished 14th qualifying for the St Louis Top 10. Melissa Newberry had parent, grandparents and siblings travel with the Paris group to support them in their first quiz. Paris came a long way and did very well in this their first quiz. I learned they will be going to the Rogers Arkansas Invitational on the 17th.The GEPCP 2008 shirts came in. These are really good looking shirts. We had 5 quizzers who already reached the 2008 point required;Brendan, Braden and Brookston Johnson, Tyler Miller, and Hanna Brownlee. Brookston with over 4000 point has already earned the second level status.This was the Quiz Meet that all anticipated. The Quiz that determined who would make the cut for the Top 10 St Louis Bible Quiz. Not all of our Quizzers were able to make this trip so they passed the opportunity to the next in line. What a great group of teens.

By invoking the GEPCP+ option, Daniel Taylor will be the 5th member of the A TEAM, even though he was not able to attend the November Quiz. Out of the ten contestants in the Jump Master competition, Brookston Johnson was able to capture the title in the first round. Brookston is the Jump Master for the month of November.
