2007-2008 Schedule
GEPCP Points:
In the Quizzing portion alone, this year a quizzer can earn over 10,000 points. See the GEPCP 2008 Program for earning points. We want to take quizzing to the next level. Bible Quizzing is not just about study of, and the knowledge of the Scriptures. Bible Quizzing is a ministry opportunity. It is an opportunity to reach out to those who do not know God. This year we want to focus on going beyond the Quizzing program in itself, and use the Quizzing program to reach others for God. Therefore special GEPCP points will be given to those with outreach as their focus.

Naz Nite:
Missionary minded teens will use Naz Nite as an outreach event. Invite your unchurched friends and acquaintances to join you and a bunch of other Nazarenes for a special night at Six Flags. Bring them get and 50 GEPCP points. Bring them and introduce them to me (Bob Jackson) at Six Flags and get 50 more GEPCP points.
Quiz Encounter:
Weekend in September; Bring a non quizzer friend and get 50 GEPCP points.
Friday night at 8:00 welcome, introduction, prayer.

Booster Bonus Points:
Bring someone (anyone eligible to be a quizzer) outside of the quizzing program to watch, and be a team Booster and boost your GEPCP points by 50. The team coach must keep records and submit them after the Quiz event.
Year Book:
This year the Year book will be done by Quizzers, with the District Director serving as editor, and publisher. Committee members will receive 100 GEPCP points and a copy of the year book. I need 3 Quizzers to fill these positions and I will be taking applications by email at bobmjackson@hughes.net
Stock Certificates:
Sell them and earn money for St Louis, Extrav, Q2008 and other events.
Logo Contest:
Win a shirt with the new LOGO. It is time to once again look forward to the next Bible Quiz season. What would be really COOL is to have a very unique logo to adorn our Quiz Shirts this year. Instead of the caps as for the Acts 2007, I want to award the GEPCP 2008 Quizzer with team shirts. These shirts should show the world who we are and what we are about. I know there are a lot of teens out there with artistic talent who would be able to an awesome job of creating a shirt just for us. There are adults who would love to help these teens develop a shirt design for us. These are the people I am seeking out. Please let me know of your interest, so we will know how many designs will be coming in. I do not want to overlook any entry, or wait for an entry that is not coming. I will keep you all posted as to the entries and the results we get. The winning selection will be chosen at the NYI council meeting in August. The one with the winning entry will receive the first shirt as a reward. These entries need to be a computer file that can be converted into a screen print for the shirts. These could be a hand drawing, and then scanned into a file. Therefore all entries must be sent to me at bobmjackson@hughes.net no later than August 18th

For those teams attending the KY or Forever Young quiz will be given credit for the October 13 Quiz. Jump Points for the October Quiz will be determined by the jumps earned at the KY or Forever Young Invitational.
Options, Options, Options!
There are many Quizzes outside of our district which conflict with our district quizzes. These are great experiences which I encourage those who can, to please go and make memories with your teens. Remember; the more you put into Bible Quizzing the more you will get out of it. Mark you calendars and attend as many of these Quiz Events as possible. This is going to be a year of GEPCP proportions. Excuse the pun but there has never been such an opportunity, ever, for what God has in store for us this year. This year I believe God wants to fill our lives in “epic proportions”. God has placed us here in preparation for the events of this year. I am anticipating an outpouring of God upon this district. God is preparing vessels to be used in this event. It is with great expectations, open heart, and the desire to make disciples, I ask you to join me in being vessels ready for God to use.
Please read the outline for the “MY Group” (the Master’s Youth Group). We want to make a difference at every level in this district for youth. Friday night impact with *MY group.
