I received this prayer request today and wanted to pass it on. The surgery is happening on this coming Monday.
Wanted to ask you all for special prayer for a family that is very close to my heart. Many of you already know Ricky and Tanya Massey and know about their son Jeremy Massey donating one of his kidneys to his son Clayton on Monday. Tanya emailed me today and said they will be going over on Sunday afternoon so Clayton can have his pre-ops on that day. The surgery is scheduled Monday morning (Jeremy starts at 5:00am) and Clayton will be at 8:00) The plans have changed for them to be in adjoining operating rooms. Jeremy will be at UT and Clayton will be at Children’s. It will hard on both families (Jeremy’s and Candy’s) not being able to all be together at the same hospital. Please remember them in your prayers and remember their extended families as well who will be anxiously waiting for the success of both surgeries.

I have what I think is an urgent Prayer Request. I just got a call from my brother Mark and his wife Kathy, had a mamagram done yesterday and they what her to come back in tomorrow morning to check something out on it. They said there is a change and they want to find out what it is. she has not been feeling very good for a couple of months. My brother has been worried about her because she has changed in several ways lately, including a change in her personalty and a major mood swing. They have tried to get her to the doctor for a couple of months and at Thanksgiving she promised me that she would make a doctors appoitment for a complete physical. Please keep Kathy & Mark in your prayers. Thanks and God Bless each of you.
Please pray for a cousin of mine, Cody and his family. His wife’s name is Michelle and his son’s name is Cayden.
Cayden has been in Children’s Hospital in Little Rock up until day before yesterday when they sent him home. He was air-lifted from Texarkana to L.R. Sunday Nov. 23rd I believe it was. They say he had pneumonia and then they say he had RSV but now there are abcesses on his lungs. He is home but with a meda-port to take his medicine.
I am asking for prayers for Cayden, the 9 month old baby boy and for his parents and two sisters, Alexis and Jayci.
The stress is beginning to have its effect on Cody and Michelle. Thanks

Lee Wolfgang, James’ step dad, is having a triple bypass tomorrow morning at 7:30 at Baylor in Dallas Please keep him in your prayers. He is a Nazarene and attends Central Church of the Nazarene in Dallas. Please keep the family in your prayers on Friday. We will update you as we find out more.
I received this prayer request from my cousin Debbie about her daughter. Leslie was in a car accident on the way to work. She was rear ended on I35 this morning. Her neck and shoulders are hurting her. Please pray for her. Thank you for your prayers.
I got the following email from Darlene Edwards and wanted to pass it on to you.
Before I sent out the prayer request for my niece and her one year old son, there was a hearing and the alcoholic father/husband, who had fallen off the wagon, was granted 8 hours Wed. and Fri. unsupervised visitation. My sister and niece are very discouraged and frightened for the little one. Please continue to pray for this man and protection for this child as well as the marriage and of course for my sister and her daughter.

My younger brother has quite a few things going on in his family that need immediate prayer. His son Cameron’s wife Nikki is pregnant and went to emergency this weekend and found out that there is blood between the baby and the placenta. She is suppose to go to her doctor on Thursday (he has looked at the exrays and said she can wait that long) and see what can be done. This is their first child and they are really worried about it. Also, my niece Amanda’s husbands dad was found today and they think he passed away sometime last week. I know that Ray’s dad has had a lot of physical problems but this is a complete surprise to the family. So please keep Ray and Amanda in your prayers.
Mark told me that there is other stuff that is also going on so I would ask that you keep Mark and Kathy in your prayers as well. I will give you an update when I know something. I really appreciate your prayers and know that my family does as well. God Bless to all of you Martha
I received this prayer request from Rhonda last week and I wanted to pass it on to all of you. I will send you an update as I receive them from Rhonda.
Clara has been battling several problems for a while now, but I believe this is the worst yet. She was taken to the hospital Saturday night and was admitted after going to the emergency room. The doctor(s) decided that they needed to do a procedure on her that would help her breath, so they did. In the process they blew holes in her lungs, thus presenting more problems with a higher level of severity. Now she is in IICU and they keep her asleep so that she cannot pull out the tubes, etc. They have tubes in her to help inflate her lungs. This has been an ordeal. Her eyes are swollen to and at one point her neck measured 18 1/2″ due to the swelling. This evening it had gone down to 15″. They put in a feeding tube today and will start feeding her tomorrow. She is on a ventilator.

Just a note to let you know that my cousin, Renee’ Templeton, is home now. She is the one that the tree feel on her and severed her spinal cord. She is paralyzed from the waste down. Her mother said yesterday that the house is all fixed for her convenience. The doctor said it would take about a year for her body to heal and adjust to all the injuries. She said Renee’ is strong and has a good outlook, she does have her moments but that is normal. Renee’ has always been very precious and beautiful. Please continue to lift her and Rusty up in your prayers. They will have a lot of adjustments to make in their lives.

Vonnie’s son-in-law is a minister at a church and has been asked to leave. Please lift him in prayer as to what God wants him to do, this includes if he is to stay in the ministry. God is in control but sometimes there are influnces that try and bring down a person.
Also, Virginia Pickett’s granddaughter-in-law Tammy Pickett had a stroke this morning and is in the hospital. Please remember her and her family as well. I have someone that I believe needs the prayers of her church family and friends. I can’t go into a lot of detail so I will ask that you pray for Aldonna Pazin. There are some medical issues that she has been going through. So, I ask you to pray for her, the family, and the doctor. I honestly believe that we need to remember to pray for the people who treat us for whatever promblems we are facing. I know I want my doctor to be hearing from God when he takes care of me. I got a prayer request from Dian this morning. It is about a young man that is in his 40’s and he has an anurism (spelling?) on the aurota. I will try and get more information for you as the day goes along. I do know that he is having surgery tomorrow morning at 5:00 am. I just received a prayer request from Rachel about Kelley Sink. She is going in for surgery right now in Dallas @ Presbaterian (?) for a tumor that is wrapped around her spine. Even if they get it all in surgery there is a chance she will not be able to walk again. Please keep her in your prayers. Also, she does not have a church home so she needs prayer that someone will be able to minister to her and she will find a church home. Prayer request for Heather, my niece. she is due to have her baby shortly and she went to emergency today because it didn’t feel like the baby was moving like she has been. Please remember Heather and the baby as well as the rest of the family. They think the baby is ok but we just want to make sure. I have some prayer requests for you today. Pray that Jason H. will be able to find the job that God has for him. Also that he will know the direction he need’s to follow to find that job.
The other prayer request is for Susan Maxwell. She is looking for a place to live that will accept animals. She has two small goats that are her pets and she would like to be able to find a place that would accept these goats. Also,she is going through a legal matter in Oklahoma that she want’s God direction as to what to do and that God will be glorified whatever the end result is.

I recieved this today from my friends Kenny and Elaine. Kenny was diaginosed with Kidney Cancer last March or April. Things are not good. They can use all the prayers we can offer during this time. Please say a prayer for them and thier families.
I have sent her an email telling that our church would be praying for her. Cancer is such an awful disease to have no matter what form it is and I know many have been affected by it either by having themselves or to have a close family member or friend that has had to deal with it. I just sent a prayer request but I have another one from Brian McDaniel who works at the Ford Dealership. I requested prayer for his son who is only a few months old. He sent me another email that I am copying here for prayer for his son: WE HAD TO TAKE KEVIN BACK TO THE ER LAST NIGHT WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AS BEFORE. HIS HEART RATE WAS STEADY AT ABOUT 280 BEATS PER MIN. AND WOULD GO OVER 300 BPM EVERY NOW AND THEN. THEY HAVE HIS HEART BEAT BACK TO NORMAL. THEY KEPT KIM OVERNIGHT LAST NIGHT FOR OBSERVATION AND HIS DOCTOR CAME IN THIS MORNING AND SAID HE WAS DOING GREAT. SHE IS GOING TO CALL CHILDRENS MEDICAL AND TALK TO THE DOCTOR THAT SAW HIM LAST WEEK AND LET HIM KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON AND SEE WHAT THE WANTS TO DO. SHE SAID THEY WOULD PROBABLY RELEASE HIM TODAY. This really sounds seriou and I am requesting that you pray for Brian, Jennifer and Kevin their newborn. I am not sure where they are on the walk with Jesus but I know they are seeking some answers and where can they get better answers except from the Lord. Thanks for caring enough to pray for others. Suzanne’s brother, Jeff Wilburn who lives next to the Gulf of Mexico, almost across the street from Galveston, has not been heard from since Hurricaine Ike. Please pray that he will have a way to contact us soon, and pray that he and his family are all ok.
Also, our service manager, Bobby Yancy, from my work, has just had neck surgery this morning. They were going to fuse several of his vertabrae, right below the brain stem, together with a steel rod. Keep his success and recovery in your prayers also. I know she will appreciate your prayers when you get this message. God Bless each of you!!
I have an urgent prayer request for someone who remain nameless at this time. She has a son that has been going through some touch stuff. He was caught with marjuana and was arrested. She wants us to pray that he will open his eyes and realize that his behavoir is distructive for him and their family. I don’t thing he even knows what this kind of behavior can do to the rest of his life. And things he will not be able to do in the future with a police record. Please pray for him and for others that are caught in the lies of Satan that tells them they are not hurting anyone so it is OK. They are hurting themselves and a lot of others as well. I just got the following email from a man I use to work with at the car dealership. His son is not doing well but he is starting to understand that God wants him to draw closer for his family and son. Please read the following Brad is talking about his baby son:

THE NURSE CHECKED HIS PULSE. SHE SAID HIS HEART STOPPED. SHE SQUEEZED HIS ARM AND SOMEHOW HIS HEART STARTED BACK AND HE CAME TO AND STARTED CRYIN. I DONT THINK THE HEART CAN STOP AND THEN START AGAIN WITHOUT SOMETHING STARTING IT. I REALLY DO THINK THAT GOD STARTED HIS HEART BACK CAUSE IT JUST WASNT HIS TIME. MARTHA, I HAVENT BEEN TO CHURCH IN A COUPLE OF YEARS, BUT I CANT WAIT FOR TOMORROW SO WE CAN GO. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME THAT I’VE FELT COMPELLED( NOT SURE ABOUT THE SPELLING) TO GO.I REALLY THINK THAT THIS IS THE WAKEUP CALL THAT ME AND JENNIFER NEED.

(YES 3 HUNDRED AND SIX BPM) MONDAY AND THEY TRANSFERED HIM TO CHILDRENS. THE GOOD LORD GAVE US GREAT DOCTORS TO CARE FOR HIM. HE HAS WHAT THEY CALL SVT. ITS LIKE HIS HEART SHORTS OUT AND HIS HEART RATE GOES THROUGH THE ROOF. THE MEDICINE MAKES EVERY THING LINE BACK UP AND BEAT LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO.
Prayer request for Art Foster, Friend and client to Richard Watkins,he also runs Fosters General Store in Pickton, Bad fire accident day before yesterday, he was burning trash and didnt realize there were aeresol cans in the bag and it exploded on him. His face,neck,chest and arms were all burned. At present hes at parkland icu in a medical induced coma and I believe he was on a respirator that they were supposed to take out yesterday. It will be a long journey back to recovery and he as well as his family, need our prayers, hes married and has two stepchildren.
I have two prayer request’s for you. One is for dian’s sister, she has had a several health issues that she is having a hard time dealing with. Dian requests that you remember her in your prayers for strength to do the things she needs to do, and also for her to come to a place where she knows the Lord.
The second request is for the family of Marcie Kerby. I heard just a short time ago that she went home to be with the Lord. We know she is in a better place and that does bring a peace to all that know her but we will all still miss her and her family especially is going to have some days of mixed joy for her and sadness for their loss.

My Cousin, Rusty Templeton, was cutting some tree branches today. One of the branches fell on his wife, Renea Templeton. She was Care Flighted to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. All of her ribs are broken and her spinal cord has been severed. They told them that she will never walk again. My cousin is so distraught that he will not speak to anyone. They are both just 50 years old with a teenager still at home. Please pray for healing for their family. They live in Eustace, Texas just outside of Canton. Thank You for Your Prayers.

I have a prayer request for you. My cousin Debbie who lives in Fort Worth is going in on Thursday to see if she has cancer. The place they are going to freeze and check is either on or near her tonsils. They are going to freeze some of the tissue and send it to pathology. Prayer request for the family and friends of Daniel Underwood who committed suiside this morning by shooting himself. He is a frind of Ed Camp. He has two son’s and they do not know about this as yet. His son’s are 10 and 6. Please pray for the family and friends of Daniel and also remember Ed in your prayers. This is really hard on him. This young man is a victim of drugs and depression and did not know where to turn. There are a lot of people out there that are in this type of situation and don’t know the Lord and so they don’t know that even when you get into a place like he is there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Prayer request for Larry Johnson who is having surgery at noon today in Paris. He has had this procedure done before around a year ago, I think. I have a prayer request for you for a very special Godly woman. Her name is Marcie Kerby. I think most of you know her and know she has been fighting cancer for several years. Earlier this year I heard that the cancer had gone into her brain. She has fought the cancer in a lot of different ways, these ways including Prayer (always first for her), watching her diet and as a last resort chemo and radiation. She was in Baylor in Dallas for a little while and came home not long ago with a hospital bed for her house. Dian talked to someone today and found out the doctors say she only has a couple of weeks here with us. However, we know that no matter what happens she is in the hands of God. She has served Jesus all of her life and has been a witness to a lot of men and women alike. Please pray for Marcie, her husband, Johnny, her children and grandchild. Also, pray that God will use her life and ministry to continue to do the work she has such a compassion for.
UPDATE on Jeffery Cooper (husband of ex-boss) Back on July 24 we sent a prayer request for Jeffery due to a tumor in the rectum. He is at Baylor now having another Cat Scan because they found a couple of spots on his liver. They are trying to see if they there are more of these and to see if there is anything else going on. He now has a temporary calastomey bag and he suppose to go through Chemo to reduce the size of the Tumors. They did find cancer in the rectal wall and quite a bit of blockage. Please pray for him and his family, as well as for God’s help and direction . Thanks for your prayers. God Bless

He has had problems with kidney stones since mid June.
He went in at 6:30am to have them taken out. Lou Jane is on her way there (as of 7:40 this morning)

New prayer request from Sandra, Sandra’s cousin’s wife found out she has cancer in her neck. They have done 3 surgery’s and during one of the surgery’s they hit a nerve in her neck. As of now Sandra said it has paralyzed her eye on the right side. Please remember her in prayer. She has 2 children and a husband and works for a hospital, so she has a lot going on besides. We thank you for your prayers and will keep you posted as we know more. God bless each of you for your faithfulness in praying for others.
We are having a busy prayer day. I just received a call from Amanda Caviness and John’s Brother, Travis found out he has Colon Cancer. They are suppose to do a MRI on monday to find out how advanced it is and what needs to be done. Please remember to pray for them as their names come before you. God Bless each of you.
Kathy Young is need of our prayer. She had back surgery awhile back and is not doing very well. She is in a lot of pain which makes it hard to cope or even deal with the day to day events. Also, please keep Susan Maxwell in your prayers. She is also having problems with her back. It is so hard on both of these ladies who are use to working and taking care of business and then not to be able to do much of anything, due to the constant pain. I believe that both of these ladies have filed for disability which will help with Medical and other expenses. Please lift them up for the medical & financial but also so that they will not get discouraged while they are trying to cope with all of this.
Sometimes we need to just know that prayers are going up for us and that people care. God bless each of you for your consistant prayers!!

I just received a call from Pastor Keiss and he said that Laurie Allenbaugh is having surgery as I am writing this. He did not say what kind of surgery this is but requested that we lift her up in prayer. I know she has not been feeling well. Thanks for your faithfulness in praying for others. I have an urgent prayer request for you. I got a call from Hanna and her bosses husband found out this morning that he has a rectal tumor, his name is Jeffery Cooper. She said they put him in the hospital this morning. Please life him up as well as his wife. No matter how this turns out it is a very difficult thing to go through as well as a strain on all areas of their lives. Please pray for mercy and that God will be in control of all. Thanks for your prayers people know that we believe in the power of prayer and that God does answer our prayers.
Also, Please pray for a young lady in our church that needs help for college and all of the expenses that go with it. She needs guidence and direction as to where to go for the help she needs.

Dian’s sister, Joyce Grillette, is in the hospital and they did a MRI yesterday afternoon. She is having seisures and they think it might be cancer in her brain. She is also having memory loss. Also, Dian’s other sister, Gloria Ebarb is having surgery on 7/25 for her back, she has one or two disks that have colapsed. Please remember them in your prayers as well as Dian. This is really hard on all of them. Thank you.
Tabatha (don’t know last name) is in Dallas in the hospital, she had a premature baby on Sunday. Please pray for her and the baby. She does not know the Lord so please lift her up for that as well as for what lies ahead with taking care of a newborn that is premature. Thanks for your prayers. People know us as a praying church, and that is a good thing.

Prayer Request for Dian’s nieces’s ex-husband, Ken Adams, is having a problem with blood clots in his lungs. He was suppose to have a procedure yesterday, in California, and they are suppose to keep him sedated until the 11th, and then see how he is and what needs to be done at that time. Please remember him in your prayers. Thanks
I have a prayer request for you. Ben Wade’s brother passed away and they are having the funeral on Thursday. I believe the funeral will be at Morning Chapel. Ben is taking the death of his brother pretty hard. In case you are not sure of who Ben is he is the husband of Dena Wade (Judy and Wade Crawford’s daughter).
